Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 Discounts

Eric (Gainesville, FL) :
This is my first tablet. I really debated getting this or surface pro due to needing to write on and edit powerpoints. I went with this for the price and since my school has integrated to using Google. I wasn't sure about snote but after playing with it I realized it's very easy to use and everything I was looking for. I leaned toward the surface since it has PowerPoint built in but the note imported my slides easily and can edit any way I want. Tons of options. So far it's great. I'd recommend to a student with similar interests. As for everyone else, I used a ton of apps and had no troubles except for Evernote, the first time. After that it was fine. I didnt hear the original 10.1 speakers but they are no longer on the front. I have no problem with them where they are. They sound great to me. The stylus seems a bit small since I have large hands but I'm used to it now. Hope this helps. Sorry for any typos, I typed this with my s4.

Pros: This tablet is really beautiful... FAST as can be. The features on it is absolutely incredible and really brings tablet use to a new level. From the S pen to the air commands.
Cons: Samsung overlays android with their system touchwiz. It has its good but it has its bad like major Memory hog. I'd recommend using one of the launchers such as nova launcher, or ilauncher (ios7) for a more customization of an experience
Other Thoughts: If you are looking for a worthy tablet that will last for a while .. this is the one. The specs are extremely high, and it will be a blow out for some time.

For a tablet under $1000, this is about one of the best you can get in terms of hardware, discounting the plastic casing and fake leather stuff on the back. It has a faster processor and more memory than any of the Apple Tablets (iPad, iPad Mini which had outdated hardware the day they were released) not to mention the option for expandable memory. One thing, however is that the expandable memory cannot be used for programs or applications, just file storage for docs, photos, videos and video game emulators if that is your thing (Pokemon and GBA games in general look wonderful on the screen when emulated properly). I got my hands on this at Bestbuy, and will definitly be buying one when I get the money for it at the end of the month even though after insurance (I'm a college student, gotta get insurance) it will run you about $750, it is well worth it in the long run if you are taking notes of any kind on a tablet. Not sure if they are going to make a keyboard doc for it, but that would be amazing if they did.
